Decision Debt Is Now Available for iPhone

The Decision Debt app is live on the App Store for iPhone—capture unresolved decisions, preserve reasoning, and review outcomes before deferred calls compound.

Decision Debt is now available for iPhone on the Apple App Store.

If you have read about Decision Debt on this site, you already know the pattern: deferred calls, misplaced ownership, and degraded judgment compound invisibly until throughput collapses. The app exists because that pattern does not wait for a quarterly offsite. It shows up between meetings—in the approval you postponed, the tradeoff you never named, the conversation you softened because the week was already full.

Why we built the app

Leaders do not lack intelligence. They lack a running balance for decisions only they can make. Financial debt has a statement. Technical debt has a backlog. Decision Debt has neither—which is why smart teams carry enormous balances without a line item to show for it.

The Leadership Assessment answers where Decision Debt is bleeding capacity across pillars. The mobile app answers a different question: what call is sitting in your head right now, and what happens if you defer it again?

What the app helps you do

On iPhone (and on Android via Google Play), Decision Debt Tracker helps you:

  • Identify unresolved decisions before they become invisible background noise
  • Recognize bottlenecks when the same choices keep resurfacing without an owner
  • Apply the Decision Debt methodology by logging the call, preserving your reasoning, and revisiting the outcome
  • Improve clarity and follow-through with a private record you can review on Sunday and defend on Monday

This is not a shared workspace or a team dashboard. It is a pocket log for leaders who need their own judgment on record.

How it fits the Decisive EDGE Framework

The EDGE Framework is the operating system: Assess where decisions stall, Clarify what matters, Develop judgment, Execute with discipline, and Adapt as conditions change. The app supports the Assess and Adapt loops in daily practice—especially when you need to return to a call after the outcome is known.

Read the Decision Debt Model for the full definition, mechanisms, and pay-down system. Use the app when you are ready to practice what the model describes.

Who should use it

Use the app if you:

  • Carry important decisions mentally because there is no durable record
  • Re-litigate the same calls because reasoning was never captured
  • Want a private log that does not depend on another tool’s workflow
  • Already took the Assessment and want ongoing discipline between diagnostics

Start with the Leadership Assessment if you have not scored your Decision Debt yet—the app complements the diagnostic; it does not replace it.

What to do next

  1. Download on the App Store for iPhone: Decision Debt on the App Store
  2. Read the app overview on-site for platform details and FAQs: Decision Debt Tracker
  3. Study the model if Decision Debt is new vocabulary for your team: Decision Debt Model
  4. Run the Assessment for your pillar read and journey recommendation: Leadership Assessment

For the AI-era field manual on judgment and governance, see Decisive AI (Vol. 5)—the book that names the Four Surrenders and the operating tools that keep human judgment in the loop.

The debt is optional. The interest is not. Now you have a place to log the calls before they compound.
